To Our Clients,
By now there’s no doubt that the current COVID-19 pandemic is unique in nature and unprecedented in scale. Though we understand this feels like a scary time, we believe this will eventually be behind us, just like other outbreaks in history. It’s a once-in-a-generation event, and all current indications point to a rapid economic recovery after the worst has passed.
We are facing ever-changing circumstances related to COVID-19, and are focused on ensuring that our team, our clients, and our communities are safe by slowing the spread of the virus and practicing the recommended social distancing. Fortunately, our office is in our home. We also have the equipment and resources available for Katie to operate from her home whenever necessary. In the meantime, the broker/dealer, clearing firm(s), and product partners we work with are activating components of Business Continuity Plans as appropriate, and readying additional measures to ensure we continue to have access to the market and products we need to navigate this situation, even as social distancing and travel restrictions rapidly evolve.
We are glad to spend time with you during this period discussing how we are managing our portfolios and reviewing your plans and goals. Calm is crucial in these situations, but if you have any concerns about your portfolio, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Some of you have a meeting scheduled with us in the next couple of weeks. If you are unable to come to our office, we can make other arrangements, just give us a call. If you don’t have a meeting or call scheduled, but would like one to discuss the current climate, please call.
So, what’s next? Once we believe this situation is somewhat stabilized, we have some ideas as to where to go bargain hunting. Until then, keep yourself informed, but if you get too worried, reach out to us.
